Knippers Helbig
Knippers Helbig Advanced Engineering is an engineering company with headquarters in Stuttgart and New York City. It was founded in 2001 by Jan Knippers and Thorsten Helbig and specializes in structural and facade planning of national and international construction projects in the areas of building construction, steel construction, timber construction, bridges and airports. Knippers leads since 2000, the Institute of Building Structures and Structural Design at the University of Stuttgart.
The company works with world-renowned architects such as Massimiliano Fuksas, Nicholas Grimshaw and Stefan Behnisch and supports exporting facade Companies like soul or Gartner.
