Kotayk Province

Kotayk, also Kotayk, (Armenian Կոտայքի մարզ, in scientific transliteration Kotayk ' ) is one of the provinces of Armenia.

Kotayk is located in the center of the country. Provincial capital is Hrazdan. The area of ​​the province is 2089 km ² and the population is 241 337 (as of 2002).

Tourist centers are the city Garni and Geghard Monastery. After a province in Armenia very popular brewery is named in Abovyan, which is spelled with Latin letters Kotayq. Also famous is the city Tsaghkadzor, the Armenian skiing center.
