Kouilou Department

Kouilou is a department of the Republic of Congo with the capital Pointe- Noire.

Geography

The Department is located in the southwest of the country, bordered on the north, Gabon on the south by the Angolan exclave of Cabinda, on the west by the Atlantic Ocean and to the east by the department of Niari. The river Kouilou flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
