Koycegiz is the name of a district town and a district in the Turkish province of Muğla. The district is located in the center of the province and is bordered to the north by Denizli. The city, which is located on the Koycegiz Lake, and the county has 8,750 32,817 inhabitants ( 2010).

In addition to the city Koycegiz, there are two more municipalities and 18 villages in the district.
