Krasová

Krasová ( German Rogendorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 22 km north-east of the center of Brno and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Krasová is located on a plateau in the Moravian Karst. To the north lies the valley Krasovké 's Valley, northwest of the cave Balcarka and the arroyo Suchy žleb.

Neighboring towns are Ostrov u Macochy in the north, Lipovec in the northeast, Krásensko in the east, in the southeast Kotvrdovice, Jedovnice in the south, southwest, and Vilémovice Harbechy in the west.

History

Rogge village was founded in 1717 by the owner of the domain Raitz, Karl Ludwig von Roggendorfstraße and Moll Castle ( 1682-1744 ). The residents of the village, its spelling later changed in Rojendorf and Rogendorf, lived by agriculture. 1763 acquired Anton Josef Altgraf of Salm- Reifferscheidt the rule Raitz by the heirs of Caroline Rogge village, born Palffy Erdöd, the widow of Karl Ludwig. 1834 was Rogendorf of 35 houses where 219 people lived. Twenty years later, the village had 258 inhabitants.

During the construction of the German military training area Wischau Rogendorf was among the 33 for it to broaching places. The evacuation of the village belonging to the 3rd stage was carried out until 30 June 1944. After the end of World War II, the village was repopulated. On August 11, 1946 a ceremonial renaming in Krasová.
