History

The village was one of the numerous established after Lhotensystem villages whose settlers were exempt for a certain period of royalties and services to the authorities. The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1351, as Heralt of Kunštát him left to Sudek of Veseli. He sold the village along with Kunice in the same year at Kuno of Kunštát on Lysice for his five sons.

Lhota originated from single-storey timbered wooden houses that were grouped with the gable end to a large village square. This village square was later built.
