Krewella

Krewella is an American band from Chicago, which deals mainly with music in the areas of house and dubstep. She founded in 2007 and consists of Kris Tindl (also Rain Man ) and the two sisters Yasmine and Jahan Yousaf. First publications of the group date back to the year 2011.

Career

Krewella began in 2007 to produce their own music, however, published until her first song Life of the Party 2011, they recorded together with S- Preme, nothing. This song and strobe lights appeared on the music platform SoundCloud. June 2012 Krewella published their first EP Play Hard. Also a remix EP called Play Harder came in December 2012 on the market. The remixes were produced, among others, the pegboard nerds and Dirtyphonics. With the title Alive, the band was able to record their first chart success, she reached among others in the United States and Canada, a position in the top 50 after they had signed a contract with Columbia Records.

A first full studio album Get Wet was released on September 20, 2013, and reached number 45 of the Australian charts.
