Kromołów, Opole Voivodeship

Kramelau, Polish Kromołów, is a town in Upper Silesia. Kramelau located in the municipality rolls ( Walce ) in the powiat Krapkowicki in Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Geographical Location

Kramelau located four kilometers northwest of the municipality seat rollers, eight kilometers south of the county town Krapkowice ( Krappitz ) and 30 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship.

History

Kramelau was first mentioned on April 19, 1193. 1312 was followed by a mention as Kramulowitz and the mention of the Ortsvorstehers Peter the Lame. 1862, the first school was opened.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 397 voters voted to remain in Germany and 31 for Poland .. Kramelau remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 635 inhabitants in the village. 1939, the place had 646 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Kromołów and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Krapkowicki. On April 4, 2006, in the municipality of rollers, the Kramelau belongs introduced German as a second official language, and on 3 June 2009 was the place in addition to the official German names Kramelau.
