Zabierzów, Opole Voivodeship

Zabierzau, Polish Zabierzów, is a town in Upper Silesia. Zabierzau located in the municipality rolls ( Walce ) in the powiat Krapkowicki in Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Zabierzau is located three kilometers north- west of the parish seat rollers, ten kilometers south of the county town Krapkowice ( Krappitz ) and 32 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship ( Opole ).

History

Zabierzau was first mentioned in 1282 as " Saberow ". 1899, the first school was opened.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 155 voters voted to remain in Germany and thirteen for Poland .. Zabierzau remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 279 inhabitants in the village. On 15 June 1936, the town was renamed in background forest. 1939, the place had 295 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Zabierzów and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. 1999 Zabierzów became part of the refounded powiat Krapkowicki. On April 4, 2006, in the municipality of rollers, the Zabierzau belongs introduced German as a second official language, and on 3 June 2009 was the place in addition to the official German names Zabierzau.
