Krzysztof Ignaczak

Krzysztof Ignaczak ( born May 15, 1978 in Wałbrzych ) is a Polish volleyball player. He participated in three Olympic tournaments and became European Champion in 2009.

Career

Ignaczak in 1996 with the Polish Junior European Champion and a year later world champion. In 1998 he made ​​his debut in the senior team. The following season he played in his hometown at Chełmiec Wałbrzych. 1999/2000 he was active in Kazimierz Płomień Sosnowiec before he was hired by AZS Częstochowa. With Częstochowa Libero 2001 reached the second place in the Polish league. The next two seasons, the club also finished as runner-up. Then Ignaczak joined Skra Belchatow. In 2004 he took part in the Olympic tournament in which the Poles reached the quarter- finals and occupied the fifth place. With Belchatow the Libero in 2005 achieved the double of national league and cup. 2006 and 2007 the club repeated this success. Then he came to his current club Resovia Rzeszów. At the Olympic Games in 2008, Poland took off after the quarter-finals again in fifth place. In 2009, Ignaczak as a Polish runner-up in the European Championships and won the national title. Two years later, the Poles were both in the World League and in the 2011 European Championships and third parties also second in the World Cup. 2012 won Ignaczak with Rzeszów Polish Championship and with the national team, the World League. In London, he participated for the third time at the Olympic tournament.
