Ku-ring-gai Council

Ku-ring -gai belongs to the city of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales. The area is 86 km ² in size and has about 106,000 inhabitants. It was named after the people of the Kuringgai that once settled here.

Ku-ring -gai is located in Outer Sydney north of the port of Sydney about 10 to 20 km north of the city center. The area includes 28 districts: Barra Brui, Fox Valley, Gordon, East Gordon, Killara, East Killara, East Killara, Lindfield, East Lindfield, West Lindfield, Pymble, West Pymble, Roseville Chase, St Ives, St Ives Chase, St Ives North Turramurra, North Turramurra, South Turramurra, Turramurra East, Wahroonga South, East Wahroonga, North Wahroonga, Warrawee, Warrimoo and parts of Roseville, East Roseville and Wahroonga. Management

The Ku - ring-gai Council has ten members who are elected by the residents of the five Wards ( two each from Comenarra, Gordon, Roseville, St Ives and Wahroonga Ward).
