L'Assomption Regional County Municipality

L' Assomption is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the administrative region of Lanaudière and consists of six subordinate administrative units ( four cities, two Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1983. The main town is L' Assomption. The population is 119 074 and the area of ​​255.1 km ², representing a population density of 466.7 inhabitants per km ².
