Laetitiae sanctae

Laetitiae sanctae ( The holy joy ) is another encyclical of Pope Leo XIII. in which he outlines the " Rosary and the right ordering of human social community ", it was released on September 8, 1893.

  • In his salutation, he mentions " the holy joy " of his 15th year in office and thanked the faithful and the Office brothers for the loyalty shown. As a special inspiration he refers to the connection to the Virgin Mary and praying the Rosary and calls the month of October as the rosary month again in memory.
