FC Lahti ( First Division )

The stadium Lahti (Finnish: Lahti stadium ) is a stadium with facilities for athletics in the Finnish town of Lahti. It is mainly used as a venue for the FC Lahti.

Built in 1981 and renovated in 2003, the stadium is part of the Sports Centre Lahti ( Lahti Urheilukeskus ). The stadium can accommodate 14,465 spectators. Of these, 7,465 seats and 7,000 standing places.

In the stadium took place from July 28 to August 8, 2009, XVIII. World Championships in Athletics held in seniors, which were attended by about 5,300 seniors track and field athletes. It was also one of the five venues of the European Football Championship Women 2009. Within the stadium were three preliminary rounds and quarter -final match played.

In winter, cross-country skiing World Cup in the stadium regularly and biathlon instead.
