Lambros Athanassoulas

Lambros Athanassoulas (Greek Λάμπρος Αθανασούλας, born November 10, 1976 in Athens ) is a Greek rally driver.

Career

Athanassoulas began his rally career 2001. 2005 he won the A5 class of the Greek Rally Championship. In addition, he gave in 2005 his debut in the World Rally Championship ( WRC). In a Ford Fiesta he took part in the rally Greece. In 2006 he went to six WRC rallies. In 2007 he moved his vehicle and entered into this and the following year to each of a WRC rally in a Subaru Impreza. In 2009, Athanassoulas part in two rallies. He first started in the Škoda Fabia at the Rally Greece. The rally driver was eighth and scored his first point in the WRC. He also decided the PWRC standings for themselves. Later he took part in a Ford Fiesta at only one other WRC rally. At the end of the season he finished in 20th place in the World Cup. In the PWRC standings Athanassoulas finished ninth overall. At the Rally Greece 2011, he started in a Ford Fiesta RS WRC at the end of the rally and finished 19th overall.
