Laoshan Mountain Bike Course

The Laoshan Mountain Bike Course is a sports venue for mountain biking competitions in Beijing. It is one of the venues of the Olympic Summer Games in 2008.

The Laoshan Mountain Bike Course was renovated on May 31, 2006 for the Olympic Games. It covers 8725 square meters and offers viewers to 2,000 seats and 15,000 standing room space. The mountain bike trail is shorter at 4.6 kilometers long and demanding than in previous mountain bike competitions at the Olympic Games in order to accommodate the spectators. When assets of the course, natural conditions were taken into account as far as possible to keep the damage to them as low as possible.

The route is up to the Olympic Games the Chinese athletes as training terrain. After the games, it can be used by the public.
