Laredo, Cantabria

Laredo is a city in Spain. It has 11,934 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of 13 km ².

Laredo is located on arguably one of the most beautiful bays in Cantabria. Laredo is located 44 km from Santander and 52 km from Bilbao and is a convenient location an important tourist attraction for many Spaniards, Merengues, but also Basques.

The beach promenade of Laredo has four kilometers of the longest beach in Cantabria. He was with the Bandera Azul, the blue flag awarded, which occupies the best water quality and cleanliness of the beach.

Laredo has a very impressive historical old town dating from the 16th century.
