Lars Jacobsen

Lars Christian Jacobsen ( born September 20, 1979 in Odense ) is a Danish footballer who plays in the Danish Superliga with FC Copenhagen is currently active.

Career

Beginning at Odense BK

Jacobsen played at youth at his hometown club Odense BK and was there in the 1996/97 season in the first team be Erstligadebüt. The following year he went to Odense from and again the following year on. In 2002, he won his first club title when Odense BK won the Danish Cup and he was voted the best player of the finals.

Substitute for Hamburger SV

In summer 2002, Jacobsen moved to Hamburger SV. In his first Bundesliga season, he was only twelve times used. When he could not prevail in the following season, he moved into the winter break in early 2004 returned to Denmark for top club FC Copenhagen.

Title profits with FC Copenhagen

There he was able to establish itself soon and already celebrated in the first season, winning the doubles. In his second championship in 2005/ 06 he was in all the games of the season over the entire season on the court. Only on 30 Matchday he came to FC Portsmouth for use. By the end of the season four games in the league and one in the FA Cup were added; Jacobsen then left the club.

Before the Premier League season 2009/10, the Dane joined Blackburn Rovers. and completed 13 league games for the club. August 31, 2010 Jacobsen moved free transfer to the English first division side West Ham United, with the end of the season 2010/11 he descended from the Premier League. In June 2011, the contract at West Ham United was dissolved.

Return to FC Copenhagen

On September 16, 2011 it was announced that Lars Jacobsen is again changed to FC Copenhagen.

National

Lars Jacobsen has also been a successful youth national team. Since the U16 he stands in the Danish national teams and was honored in 1997 as the best player of the year in the U19. After the U21 time when he took 24 times for Denmark, he remained a long time, however, not taken into account. Only in 2006, he was appointed for the first time in the Danish national team.
