Latrobe Council

Latrobe in the middle of the north coast of the Tasman Island about 200 km north of the capital, Hobart. The area includes 13 districts and towns: Bakers Beach, Harford, Hawley Beach, Latrobe, Moriarty, Northdown, Port Sorell, Sassafras, Shearwater, Squeaking Point, Tarleton, Thirlstane and Wesley Vale. The headquarters of the Council is located in the town of Latrobe in the west of the LGA, where about 3500 inhabitants.
Management
The Latrobe Council has nine members. The Mayor ( Mayor ), his deputy ( deputies) and Councillor seven are elected directly by the residents of the LGA. Latrobe is not divided into districts.
