Laura Omloop ( born May 18, 1999 Lier ) is a Belgian singer and yodeler.

Life

Omloop became known argued through their participation in the organized by VRT television show Junior Euro Song 2009, the Belgian preliminary decision to Junior Euro Song Contest 2009. Their song Zo was verliefd according to the rules in two versions, the Classico version and the yodelo version, which yodeling contains. In the end, Laura was her favorite role to meet and qualified with the yodelo version for the finals in Kiev. There she was in fourth place with 113 points, which is the best result in Belgium in competition. For winners (Ralf Mackenbach from the Netherlands) they had only eight points behind, but she got the highest score of twelve points four times, once more common than Ralf.

In Flanders, Zo was verliefd a big hit and came up third in the singles charts. Was also very successful album to show Junior Euro Song 2009 when her song is included in both versions. It took two weeks, number one on the album charts and reached platinum status.

2010 brought Laura two more singles, Stapelgek op jou and Ik mis out each zo papa, a little later followed her first album Verliefd that came in the Flemish album charts at # 7. In early 2011 it reached also gold status. On November 5, 2011 their second album Wereld vol rose kleuren in the Flemish albums chart, which contains a duet with Stan Van Samang. Their third album, Klaar voor! appeared at the end of 2012.
