Laurent Delorge

Laurent Delorge ( born July 21, 1979 in Leuven ) is a Belgian footballer.

Career

The attacking midfielder Delorge began his career as a teenager at FC Maleizen, tempo and Racing Jet Wavre Overijse. The age of 19 he moved to Ghent, where he completed his first appearances in the First Division. From 1998 to 2002 he was with the English club Coventry City under contract, for which he won only in the last two seasons was used in the second division. He moved back to the Jupiler League and played from 2002 to 2005 67 times for Lierse SK. For the season 2005/ 06 he went to RSC Anderlecht but came only twelve times used. Since an involvement in the Belgian football betting scandal he was accused, he had to leave the club.

Despite initial skepticism of the Dutch Football Association Ehrendivisionär ADO Den Haag took him under contract. For the season 2006/ 07 he joined the team of the Hague, but could not prevent with five goals in 28 games relegation. In May 2007 he signed a two -year contract at Ajax Amsterdam. In January 2009 he moved to Roda JC Kerkrade.

Delorge is married and has two children.
