Le Juch

Le Juch ( Ar Yeuc'h Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department in Brittany with 734 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). It belongs to Arrondissement Quimper, Douarnenez to the canton and community association Communauté de communes du Pays de Douarnenez.

Geography

The municipality is located in the west of Brittany, about four kilometers southeast of the Bay of Douarnenez on the Atlantic coast in the region of Cornwall. Douarnenez located six kilometers north-west, 13 km south-east of Quimper, Brest and about 40 kilometers north (distances slightly rounded in a straight line ).

Infrastructure

The nearest ski runs on the highway-like -laned road E 60 (Nantes -Brest ) is available from Quimper and Châteaulin. The Quimper train station is TGV Atlantique station and regional train station in the net of the TER Bretagne. The railway line Quimper Douarnenez, which passes right on the spot and had a station here, has already been shut down in 1974 in passenger transport. The next regional airports are Quimper Cornwall and the Brest airport.
