Poullan-sur-Mer
Poullan -sur -Mer ( Breton Poullann ) is a commune in the Finistère department in Brittany with 1 548 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). It belongs to Arrondissement Quimper, Douarnenez to the canton and community association Communauté de communes du Pays de Douarnenez.
Geography
The municipality is located in the west of Brittany, Cornwall, in the region on the Atlantic coast ( in the Bay of Douarnenez ), with the center two kilometers (km) south-east coast is. The municipality is located six kilometers east Douarnenez, Quimper and Brest 25 km southeast about 35 km to the north (distances slightly rounded in a straight line ).
Attractions
As cultural monuments are in the church, among others some churches, chapels, mansions and other historic buildings, a Calvary, stone crosses and the Menhir de Tréota reported. Four objects are classified as a monument historique.

The nearest ski runs on the highway-like -laned road E 60 (Nantes -Brest ) is available from Quimper and Châteaulin. The Quimper train station is TGV Atlantique station and regional train station in the net of the TER Bretagne. The railway line Quimper Douarnenez has been shut down in 1974 in passenger transport. The next regional airports are Quimper Cornwall and the Brest airport.
