Pouldergat

Pouldergat ( Pouldregad Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department in Brittany with 1242 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ). It belongs to Arrondissement Quimper, Douarnenez to the canton and community association Communauté de communes du Pays de Douarnenez.

Geography

The municipality is located in the west of Brittany in the region Cornwall, well five kilometers (km) southeast of the town Douarnenez on the bay of the Atlantic. Quimper is located 17 km south-east and about 40 km north of Brest (distances slightly rounded in a straight line ).

Transport links

The nearest exit on the highway-like -laned road E 60 (Nantes -Brest ) is available from Quimper. The Quimper train station is TGV Atlantique station and regional train station in the net of the TER Bretagne. The railway line Quimper Douarnenez has been shut down in 1974 in passenger transport. The next regional airports are Quimper Cornwall and the Brest airport.
