Lebanese general election, 1927

The first general elections in the history of Lebanon were held in 1927. At the time, Lebanon was, however, not independent, but under French rule as part of the League of Nations Mandate for Syria and Lebanon.

Was elected the Assemblée Nationale, the Lebanese parliament. It had 46 members. 30 of them were in the 1927 election and the other 16 were added to the committee after the abolition of the Senate.
