Lebanese general election, 1992

Parliamentary elections were held between 23 August and 11 October 1992, in Lebanon. It was the first election in 20 years (the last were those of 1972) and thus the first election since the Civil War. Independent candidates won the majority of seats, although most of them were considered as members of various blocks. The turnout was only 30.3 %.
