Lee Beachill

Career

In 1999, Beachill his Tour debut. In his career he won a total of eight PSA titles and was three months leading world rankings. Among his greatest achievements include winning the World Team Championship in 2005 and 2007, more profits the team championship as well as the way into the final of the World Cup 2004. Against the Frenchman Thierry Lincou he was defeated in Doha with nearly 11:5, 2: 11, 11:2, 10:12 and 8:11. In the 2006 season, Lee Beachill was also in the final of the PSA Super Series, which he lost to the Australian Anthony Ricketts. Also at the Commonwealth Games Beachill was very successful: Together with Peter Nicol he won in 2002 and 2006, the gold medal in the doubles competition, and in 2006 the bronze medal in singles. 2001, 2002 and 2005, Lee Beachill British champion and stood beyond four more times in the final. In February 2009, due to a persistent knee injury he announced end of his career.
