Lee Hyo-jung
Lee Hyo -jung (Korean 이효정; born January 13, 1981 in Busan) is a badminton player from South Korea.
Sporting career
Lee Hyo -jung the gold medal in mixed doubles at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games won with her partner Lee Yong -dae. Lee Hyo -jung and Lee Yong -dae were unseeded as a player to the finals and won there against the set of number 1 Lilyana Natsir and Nova Indonesians Widianto with 21:11 and 21:17.
Lee Hyo -jung won another medal in the same event with a silver in women's doubles. With Lee Kyung -won they lost in the final in fourth Set the set of number two Chinese Du Jing and Yu Yang.
From the 2004 Olympics she was against it returned yet medaillenlos. In the women's doubles with Hwang Yu -mi they had a bye in the first round and then won against Cheng Wen- Hsing and Chien Yu Chin of Taiwan. In the quarterfinals, the Koreans were subject to the Chinese pair Zhao Tingting and Wei Yili with 15:8, 6:15 and 13:15. In Mixed with Kim Yong -hyun was even already in Round 2 Final. After another bye in round 1 they lost in the second round against Jens Eriksen and Mette Schjoldager from Denmark.
