Lee Meriwether

Lee Ann Meriwether ( born May 27, 1935 in Los Angeles ) is an American actress and Miss America of 1955.

Life

Lee Ann Meriwether was born as the daughter of Claudius Gregg Meriwether (1904-1954) and Ethel Eve Mulligan ( 1903-1996 ). Together with a younger brother, she grew up in San Francisco and Phoenix, Arizona. Your college degree earned Meriwether at George Washington High School in San Francisco, where the later singer Johnny Mathis was one of her classmates.
