The railway station is a railway station Lammenschans suffering in the south of the Dutch city of Leiden, situated on the railway line Woerden woes.
History
The high-altitude railway station based on a design by Koenraad van der Gaast. It was opened on 18 May 1961. The station is primarily used by commuters and students of the Regional Institute of Education ROC Leiden. In the first year of operation tithes there was a ticket office and a waiting room at the station. His premises were rented by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen at a snack operators. Tickets can be purchased at ticket machines in the meantime. The station has one platform.
From Leiden Lammenschans drive two lines:
- Leiden Centraal - Leiden Lamme Chan - Alphen aan den Rijn - Woerden - Utrecht Centraal (half-hourly )
- Leiden Centraal - Leiden Lamme Chan - Alphen aan den Rijn - Gouda (only at peak times )
Environment
Down at the station, there is a square where there is a small bicycle parking and a bus stop. On the other side is an industrial site. In Lamb Saddle Spark also the ROC is located.
