Leo Colovini

Leo Colovini ( born 1964 in Venice ) is an Italian game designer.

Colovini has a degree and PhD in history. He learned the age of twelve in a Venetian Chess Club Alex Randolph, and became a game tester for its developments. Colovini married 1990, 1993 was the father of twins. He quit his secure job at a bank to open a toy store together with friends. Meanwhile, there are several stores in Mestre, Venice and Padua. Colovini developed in these years mainly small card games. In 1995 he founded together with Alex Randolph and Dario de Toffoli players publisher Venice Connection. After Colovini had completed his history degree with a thesis on Charles the Great ( Charlemagne ) and the Lombards in Italy, he developed from the game Carolus Magnus. He received his doctorate in history.
