Les Basques Regional County Municipality

Les Basques is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the administrative region of Bas- Saint- Laurent and consists of twelve subordinate administrative units (a city, five municipalities, five Sprengel and an unincorporated community ). The MRC was established on 1 April 1981. The main town in Trois -Pistoles. The population is 9034 and the area of ​​1114.0 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 8.1 inhabitants per km ².
