Trois-Pistoles, Quebec
Trois -Pistoles is a town in the eponymous Canadian County Montmagny, while their capital. The city on the western shore of the St. Lawrence River in 2006 counted a total of 3,500 inhabitants and has an area of 7.66 km ².
History
Trois -Pistoles was founded in 1696 by Jean Riou.

Trois -Pistoles is between Quebec, the Maritimes and the Gaspé Peninsula. The Trans-Canada Highway runs from Quebec City to Trois -Pistoles coming. The extending further north Route 20 leads to Rimouski. Trois -Pistoles is connected to the railway network of VIA Rail Canada.
