Lhotka (Beroun District)

Lhotka is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 15 kilometers north of Pribram and belongs to Okres Beroun.

Geography

Lhotha is located north of Brdywaldes at the foot of Plešivec ( 653 m). To the west in a deep valley from the Brd steps out the Litavka. Across the valley rises the Ostry with the remains of the castle Ostry. To the south lies the Smaragdové Lake.

Neighboring towns are Lochovice in the north, and Neumětely Radouš ​​in the northeast, Bezdědice in the east, and Hostomice Běštín to the southeast, and Rejkovice Felbabka the southwest, Rpety in the west and Obora in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was associated with the reign Hořovice 1547. Demonstrable first owners were the Pesík of Komarov. Václav Pesík lost after the Battle of White Mountain in 1620, his property and emigrated to Saxony. 1630 were the Swedes under Gustav II Adolf in a Lhotka, follow them Brandenburg and Saxon troops on the way to the Width field. In the ranks of Saxony Václav Pesík of Komarov served as an officer and tried to recover his lost possessions. After the defeat at Nördlingen and the Peace of Prague final attempt failed and Lhotka remained in the possession of the Counts of Vrbno. Below possessed the Prince of Hanau and the Prince of Schaumburg rule Hořovice.

After the replacement of patrimonial Lhotka in 1850 an independent village. In the course of Bodenreforn in the First Republic of the large estates in Lhotka 1923 parzellisiert. In 1928, the place 435 inhabitants. In 1976, the annexation to Lochovice, since 1990 Lhotka is independent again.
