Líský

Lísky ( German hazel woods, formerly Liskai ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eleven kilometers west of Slany and belongs to Okres Kladno.

Geography

Lísky is located on the eastern edge of the forest area Týnecký les on a ridge between the valleys of Zlonicky creek and Bukovský creek. To the north rises the Haje ( 389 m).

Neighboring towns are Bílichov and Zichovec in the north, and Hořešovičky Hořešovice in the northeast, Plchov in the east, in the southeast Pozdeň, Hřešice in the south, and Srbeč Milý in the southwest, and boron in the West.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1616.

After the abolition of Patrimnilaherrschaften Lísky formed in 1848 a district of the municipality in the district Hřešice Slany. 1890 acquired the place its independence. Since 1961 Lísky belongs to Okres Kladno. In 1980, the village was incorporated into Pozdeň. Since 1990, the community is Lísky again.
