List of airlines of the Gambia

This is a list of airlines in the West African nation of Gambia.

Operationally active as an airline is next to the Mahfooz aviation Slok Air Gambia, but the rumored financial difficulties for press releases (2008). The Gambia International Airlines still exists as a company, but performs only the passenger and cargo handled at the Banjul International Airport by and currently has no active flying service. Some sources mention currently the Mahfooz flights with Boeing 727 between Banjul and Bissau On 27 April 2012, the German airline Germania announced through its subsidiary Germania Express on behalf of the Government of the Gambia from the summer of 2012, a scheduled airline with the name Bird Gambia build. With an Airbus A319 destinations in Africa, Spain and the UK are to be served.
