List of airports in Laos
The list of airports in Laos includes international and regional airports and airfields of the Democratic People's Republic of Laos. Furthermore, the military airfields specified.
Transport airfields
At the airports, respectively, the characteristic data IATA Code, ICAO Code, as well as use of the site and the province are given.
Although for the places Attapeu, Salavan and Thakhek and Don Khong ( Khong Iceland ) ( italics) exist airport codes, which is why they are on the list, but there are there no usable airfields (more).
Military airfields
Most civilian airports be shared also by the Lao military. In addition, there are some points that are the Laotian Air Force reserved:
- Military airfield Muang Phonsavan ( Xieng Khouang near the civilian airport, with Soviet- Vietnamese help built )
- Military airfield Seno ( Xeno ) ( IATA: SND; former French aerodrome at Savannakhet, with Soviet- Vietnamese help newly built )
- Military airfield Long Cheng ( erbauter of the United States secret base in the Second Indochina War, adopted by the Lao military )
