List of earthquakes in Indonesia

This list of earthquakes in Indonesia is a list of strong earthquakes that have occurred in Indonesia in historically documented period, especially in the recent past. Indonesia is a country located in a seismically active region and is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire at the subduction zone where the Australian plate slides under the Eurasian plate or under the Sunda plate. This situation often leads to strong earthquakes in the region.
