List of Presidents of Senegal

President of Senegal is the title of Head of State of the West African country of Senegal. Until the constitutional amendment because of the constitutional referendum in Senegal 2001, the term of office of a President of Senegal took seven years, from 2001 to 2008 it lasted constitutionally five years. 2008, the term of office was again changed in seven years. The incumbent president Macky Sall has announced a reduction to five years.
