List of Swiss ice hockey champions
Hockey is a popular sport in Switzerland and enjoys great popularity similar to football. Every year the clubs in the top division compete for the title of Swiss Champion.
From 1916 to 1933, in addition to the National Championship, here was a foreigner restriction, held an International Championship foreigners without restriction. The clubs could participate in both championships, the title of the National Championship applicable to the statistics.
Since the season 1937/38, is the National League A, the National League A is called today, established itself as a top division in Switzerland. In the 1985/86 season the Swiss champions were first collected in the playoffs.

Trivia
- The Zürcher SC and the Hockey section of Grasshopper Club Zurich merged in 1997 to the ZSC Lions. The ZSC Lions and former ZSC are considered the same club. Successor of the club Grasshopper- Club Zurich are the GCK Lions, which form the farm team of the ZSC Lions.
- The EHC Kloten Kloten Flyers called today. The Flyers play since 1962 without interruption in the NLA. This makes them the longest serving team in the top division.
