Litmanová

Litmanová ( Littmannsau German, Hungarian Hársád - to 1902 Littmanova ) is a municipality in the north-eastern Slovakia. It lies at the foot of the hill country Ľubovnianska Highlands and the Pieniny, located about 10 km from Stara Ľubovňa.

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1412 as Litmanova.

The mountain Zvir three kilometers north of the township was between 5 August 1990 and August 6, 1995 Location of the alleged revelation of the Virgin Mary, which should have taken place two local girls. As a result, the mountain was a place of pilgrimage.
