Liu Xuan (gymnast)

Liu Xuan (Chinese刘璇; born March 12, 1979 in Changsha ) is a former Chinese gymnast.

At the age of 17, she took part in for the first time in Atlanta Summer Olympic Games. With the Chinese team, she finished fourth in the all around. In the individual competitions, she could not qualify for the final.

Four years later, she took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney and was Olympic champion on balance beam. Two bronze medals she won in the all around with both the team and in the individual competition.
