Living Shangri-La

The Living Shangri -La is a mixed-use skyscraper and the tallest building in the Canadian city of Vancouver. It is located on the 1120 West Georgia Street, is 201 meters high and has 62 floors. The building was under construction from 2005 and exceeded after its completion on 24 January 2009, the previous highest building, the One Wall Centre to 51 meters.

In the lower 15 floors, the Shangri -La Hotel Vancouver has been established, a five star hotel and the first hotel of the Asian company Shangri- La Hotels and Resorts in North America. In the remaining floors are condominiums and offices. Also available are an indoor pool and a grocery store as well as restaurants and spa facilities. The building has an underground garage with 595 parking spaces. As part of the project, the Coastal Church was built a church in 1919 at the western end of the property, renovated.

Hotel

The five-star Shangri -La Hotels and Resorts opened on 24 January 2009 and has 119 rooms, restaurants, bar and spa facilities.
