Vranjes ( born October 3, 1973 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish handball player (164 games) and current coach of Handball SG Flensburg -Handewitt.

Vranjes played, despite its small for a handball player height of 1.66 m, on the position back center of the room. In Flensburg, he wore the jersey number 17

Career

Until 1989, he played in Kortedala in his home country. From there he moved to his hometown, where he played in Redbergslids IK Gothenburg 1989-1999. Then his way led to Spain about the club BM Granollers, where he played two seasons before he continued his career at the HSG Nordhorn (2001-2006). Then he came to SG Flensburg- Handewitt, where he was active until 2009.

Then he wanted to be with his wife Mary and his two children to go back to Sweden to coach at first division Skovde. However Vranjes dissolved the contract and took over in the summer of 2009, the post of team manager in Flensburg. In November 2010 he also took over as coach at SG Flensburg -Handewitt. Under his leadership, won Flensburg in 2012 the European Cup Winners' Cup. From May 2013 to October 2013 he trained in addition the Serbian national team.
