Usk (English Cybi 's Church ) is a village in the county of Gwynedd, Wales, in the former cantref Eifionydd.

General

Usk was once a separate village and parish, which was abolished in 1934 and divided among the communities addition Llannor and Llanystumdwy. The station of the Carnarvonshire Railway was abandoned in December 1964.

In and around Usk there are some menhirs, tumuli and stone circles, also the place is known for the " sacred spring " Ffynnon Gybi (St. Cybi 's Well ). According to a local legend to girls who want to get to know the intentions of her lover, put her handkerchief carefully on the well water.
