Parts of the former municipality Weigendorf belonged but to other dominions. The territory of the former chairman shaft courts had to order the American military government on 1 January 1946, the municipality of Teisbach ( districts courts (including Neuhausen ), Schoenbuehl and Gaubitzhausen ) and to the city of Dingolfing ( district Grüblhof including rust mill) be assigned.

The communities Loiching and Weigendorf joined voluntarily on 1 April 1971 as part of local government reform in Bavaria, headquartered in Weigendorf together. 1978 and 1979 the town was part of the joint management Loiching Niederviehbach based in Niederviehbach. From the coat of arms of the Bishopric ( the bishops of Regensburg ) also date the colors red and silver as well as the bar. Fish and keys are taken from the seal of the Regensburg Cathedral Chapter and should also remember the Loichinger parish church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul.
