Lois Nettleton
Lois June Nettleton ( born August 6, 1927 in Oak Park, Illinois, USA, † January 18, 2008 in Woodland Hills, California ) was an American actress.
Life
She studied acting at Chicago's Goodman Theatre and later in the Actor Studio in New York City. In 1958, the actress was chosen as Miss Chicago. Her Broadway debut in 1949. Lois Nettleton began her film career in 1957 on the side of Walter Matthau, in The face in the crowd. In the following years, the actress has appeared in numerous films and television productions. Lois Nettleton was awarded an Emmy in 1977 and 1983.
She was married from 1960 to 1967 with the actor Jean Shepherd. Lois Nettleton died on 18 January 2008 from lung cancer.
