Lokhvytsia Raion

Rajon Lochwyzja (Ukrainian Лохвицький район / Lochwyzkyj rayon; Russian Лохвицкий район / Lochwizki raion ) is a raion in the northwest of the Central Ukrainian Poltava oblast. He lies on his constructed from Poltava Loess Plateau. The most important river is the river Sula. The Rajon Lochwyzja Established in 1971, the village Mykolajiwka ( Миколаївка ) was dissolved on 23 December 2005, on 27 March 2009, the village Sabodakwa followed ( Забодаква ).
