Locri (Greek Dimos Lokron Δήμος Λοκρών, the congregation of the Locrians ') is a comune ( Δήμος, Dimos ) in the Regional District Fthiotida in the region of Central Greece.

The community Locri was formed by the merger of the former municipalities and municipal districts present Atalanti, Dafnousia, Malesina and Opoundia due to the Kallikratis Act of 2010. Seat of the municipality is the town Atalanti. The town was named after the ancient region of Locris and on the community logo Aias the Locrian is shown.

Structure

Since 1 January 2011, Locri divided into four municipal districts and 14 villages. The villages, which are called depending on the population as Dimotiki kinotita or topiki kinotita to elect local representatives. The population figures are derived from the results of the census of 2011.
