Louis-Marie Ling Mangkhanekhoun

Louis -Marie Ling Mangkhanekhoun ( born April 8, 1944 in Bonha - Luang, Laos ) is a Roman Catholic bishop and since 2000, Vicar Apostolic of Paksé.

Life

Mangkhanekhoun was consecrated on 5 November 1972 concerning the priests. On 30 October 2000, he was appointed as the successor of Thomas Proconsulari Khamphan Vicar Apostolic of Pakse in southern Laos and at the same time as Titular Bishop of Aquae novae. The episcopal ordination took place on 22 April 2001 the sacrament donated Jean Khamse Vithavong ( OMI ), Vicar of Vientiane; Co-consecrators were Jean Sommeng Vorachak and Pierre- Antonio -Jean Bach ( MEP).

Since 2009, Louis -Marie Ling Mangkhanekhoun also chairman of the Episcopal Conference of Laos and Cambodia.

On April 10, 2010 he dedicated himself Jean Marie Prida Inthirath, the vicar of Savannakhet, Thakhek bishop.
